Speaker profile

Stefanie Grundner is a dedicated expert in the field of Earth observation and satellite security. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Geography and Remote Sensing in Munich before embarking on a dynamic career path in the space sector.

Starting in product development at Rapideye, a German satellite data provider, Stefanie Grundner gained valuable experience in the private sector. She then brought her expertise to the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, particularly within the Galileo and Copernicus programs. In 2016, Stefanie founded her own company and since then uses her extensive knowledge to serve a diverse customer base. One of her most important clients is the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), which benefits from her specialist knowledge of space security issues.
