Speaker profile

Ruth is a Chartered Scientist specialising in assessment of environmental effects of UK spaceflight activities and ongoing regulatory compliance. Through her work with SaxaVord Spaceport, the CAA and Launch Operators alike, Ruth is able to offer a unique perspective on the regulatory opportunities and challenges to launch licencing in the UK, and is currently focused on ‘what next?’ for UK spaceflight activities – how UK spaceflight operators can set and maintain high standards for environmental control through the lifetime of this new and exciting industry.
