Nick joined Airbus Defence and Space in 2021 as the Solution Lead for Future MilSatCom where he is responsible for leading all aspects of end-to-end systems architecture development across the Space and Ground segment.
Nick joined the business following 17 years of service as a Communications and Electronics Engineer in the Royal Air Force. During his military career he undertook a broad range of international technical and staff roles including a series of active operational deployments to Bosnia and Afghanistan.
In 2011 he was seconded to the British Army Royal Signals and was responsible for leading all in theatre operational support in the Kabul region during Op Herrick. In 2017 he was appointed as the first NATO Satcom Programme Director at NATO Allied Command Transformation in Virginia Beach, USA where he was responsible for leading future MilSatcom Capability Development across the alliance.
Nick is a Chartered Engineer and holds a range of Engineering and Management degrees. His professional interests include Systems Architecture, Hybrid Networks, Electronic and Space Warfare and Military History.
