Speaker profile

Louis Head is a senior commercial lawyer at DLA Piper with extensive experience advising the public and private sectors on major projects and government/commercial contracts in a range of sectors including the social infrastructure, defence, transport and energy sectors.

Louis is recognised for his experience advising on particularly complex major projects and public procurements, including in relation to highly-regulated, highly-secure projects, such as defence, space, nuclear and prison projects.

Louis has a leading role at DLA Piper in its international defence practice, and its international space practice.

Louis regularly publishes articles and updates on space law and policy; having recently published an article titled: UK Space Agency undertakes consultation on orbital liabilities, insurance, charging and sustainability | DLA Piper.
