Speaker profile

Rory currently leads ClearSpace’s UK subsidiary and is a member of ClearSpace Group’s Executive Management Team. Rory has over 15 years’ experience in the space industry, working both at manufactures and operators, delivering programs for both commercial and institutional customers (ESA, UKSA, CNES):

• Technical Program Manager at Google Loon – managing software development activities for cutting-edge network management solutions to satcom customers.
• Program Manager at OneWeb – leading a portfolio of programs developing the next-generation technologies for the OneWeb constellation.
• Program Manager at Honeywell – managing a portfolio of technology developments programs delivering RF hardware for satellite missions.

Rory achieved a Master of Physics degree from Oxford University, a PhD from the University of Heidelberg.
