David Caponio is the SVP of Product and Business Development at Vast. David has worked for over 20 years at notable space startups including SpaceX, Virgin Orbit, Terran Orbital, as well as
US government space agencies. He has a breadth of experience successfully bridging tech development into tech fielding of key programs to include EELV, DragonLab, Stratolaunch,
Falcon Heavy, Space Test Program-2 and key space applications such as communications, weather, OPIR, SBIRS and cislunar SSA. David holds graduate engineering degrees from US
Air Force Academy and Air Force Institute of Technology.
