The Civil Aviation Authority is the UK’s aviation and aerospace regulator. Its work to regulate and oversee spaceflight is designed to safely enable the emerging UK space sector.

This includes the licensing of launch; spaceport; range; and satellite operators and granting permissions for sub orbital rocket launches. We also monitor and oversee the industry to make sure it is complying with the highest levels of safety.
