Lucy is responsible for supporting enterprises across the UK in understanding and exploiting the potential of space to create borderless solutions to problems in every sector. She is an ardent believer in the power of space as a source of sustainable economic growth, and a mechanism to build connections between people and communities that will transform the way we relate to each other and our planet.

With a background in Physics and Engineering, Lucy’s career to date has involved the launch of satellites from a few kilograms to a few tonnes, building an operations centre in West Cornwall, setting up the Catapult’s national facilities offering and promoting levelling up through space engagement across dispersed communities.
